The Sunday School meets during the Morning service between 10:30 and 11:30am. The children go for their own teaching for approximately 40 minutes, after the first part of the service.
Sunday Schools used to be very common in England. Many children were taught from the Bible that they might receive beliefs and values which would help them throughout life.
We aim to teach the children the timeless lessons of the Bible, by combining the often gripping accounts of people like Moses, Joseph, David, Mary, the Apostle Paul and the Lord Jesus Christ with modern teaching aids and illustrations. Each week the main lesson is accompanied by a range of activities.
Every week the children are given a take home sheet, so parents know what their child has been taught. Why not bring your children to attend a Sunday School where they learn the great moral principles of the Bible and the way to find faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for themselves?
The Sunday School was started in March 2012, but most of the teachers have many years of experience.
It may be possible to collect your children
All activities are covered by a comprehensive Child Protection Policy, which is available on request.
All our teachers are DBS(CRB) checked.
Each child will receive their own Bible after coming for 5 weeks.
We run a reward scheme for attendance and good attention.
We have an outing in the summer and a party in the winter for the whole Sunday School.
During the Covid-19 Outbreak the Sunday School was closed but we put videos online these can be found here:
